7T7Labs ("we", "our", or "us") operates the BatterychargeAlert mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Application.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. BatterychargeAlert does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or sensitive user data.

2. Information Collection and Use

BatterychargeAlert functions locally on your device as an offline battery monitoring utility:

Battery & Device Hardware Status: The application reads local Android system intents (such as battery percentage, charging current, battery temperature, and power connection state) strictly to display real-time analytics and trigger user-configured alarms. This information never leaves your device.
No Personal Identification: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, unique device identifiers (IMEI/Android ID), location data, or contact lists.
No User Tracking: The application does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or telemetry analytics engines.

3. Permissions Used

The Application requests the following standard Android permissions purely to perform its advertised utility:

FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Keeps the battery monitor running so it can sound your charge alarm while charging and show low-battery reminders while unplugged.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to display ongoing status notifications and alert popups when your battery reaches its threshold.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to automatically resume monitoring if your device is restarted while connected to power.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Optional overlay permission to bring the alert screen to the foreground when your target charge percentage is reached, and to show Health mode's low-battery reminder cards over other apps.
VIBRATE: Gives a short vibration for low-battery reminders when your phone is set to vibrate.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS: Ensures battery monitoring isn't unexpectedly killed by OEM background task killers.
com.android.vending.BILLING: Enables optional, voluntary developer tipping via Google Play In-App Billing. All payment processing is handled securely directly by Google.

4. Third-Party Services

In-app purchases or tips are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing Services. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles payment transactions.

5. Website Visitor Statistics

With your optional consent, this website records an aggregate count of visits by country. We use a cookie to remember your analytics choice for up to 180 days and a separate, one-day cookie to reduce repeat counting. We resolve your general country from your IP address at the time of your visit using an HTTPS geolocation service. We do not store your IP address; we retain only the country name and a running total. You can decline analytics without affecting use of the website. This applies to the website only and is unrelated to the BatterychargeAlert application described above.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
